This municipal Albergue was established in 2006 as a joint project by the city of Pamplona and its German partner city Paderborn.
During the years it has built up a reputation as a unique place, driven by an omnipresent „Camino“-spirit and the relentless of its voluntary German hospitalero-/as to help the pilgrims on their way to Santiago

Teams of 2 voluntary hospitaleros take 3-week-turns to run the albergue. Experienced pilgrims themselves their objective is not only to provide the pilgrims wtih a comfortable overnight stay but also to help them with their advice to master the rest of the camino

After crossing the ancient St.Magdalena bridge you turn to the left and after 1/4 mile you find the Albergue in a traditional Basque house.
It is situated in a park on the banks of the river „Arga”,

조용히 지낼 수 있습니다. 물이 흐르고 따뜻한 햇빛이 드는 곳입니다. 봉사자 분들이 친절히 응대해주신 덕분에 편안히 지낼 수 있었습니다. 샤워실도 아주 깨끗합니다. 조식을 먹을 때도 부족한 것이 없는지 살펴주셨습니다. 아침에 길을 떠날 때도 따뜻한 인사를 해주십니다. 고맙습니다.

Tina & Peter were our hosts, experienced pilgrims, so friendly & helpful. The showers flowed beautifully and have a separate area inside the cubicle for privacy & to keep your clothes dry!

L’endroit était vraiment confortable, avec deux hospitalières bénévoles qui étaient vraiment gentilles et attentionnées. Le bâtiment est charmant et calme, près du parc. Les draps et les couvertures étaient lavés et très propres. C’était un endroit charmant, très accueillant et j’ai même demandé un petit déjeuner. Ce fut un plaisir de séjourner ici.

Ich kann die kleine Herberge nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich wurde am 14.05.2024 von Christine und Rudolf sehr freundlich empfangen und bekam auf jede Frage eine hilfreiche Antwort. Wenn ich je mal wieder auf den Camino Frances komme , dann besuche ich auf jeden Fall die Casa Paderborn wieder. Danke für alles Bleibt gesund und vielleicht sehen wir uns ja mal wieder.
